Online Donation

A vital and useful organisation, it is time for MNC to become sustainable on a local level to keep the doors open. Your monthly recurring contribution will build a financially stable environment.

One Step Membership and Tax Deductible Donation:

Choose a monthly level of support that will cover your membership and provide just a little bit more. For example, if you are working part-time, membership is $15 - select $5 per month and tick the ‘recurring’ box - this makes $60 per year - at the end of the financial year you will be emailed receipts (at the end of each financial year) for your membership ($15) and a fully tax deductible receipt of the remainder ($45).

A transparent public organisation, financial records are made available annually to members at MNC’s AGM. MNC’s operating expenses each year are $165,000 and recurring income from State and Local Government totals $65,000. This leaves $100,000 to raise each year. In 2015, additional pressure comes from loss of funding to the community sector; many government community services that use to support MNC such as IFYS (Integrated Family Youth Services) are no longer funded. Hinterland Family Support looks it will lose funding in the near future.

MNC invites people to make a recurring monthly donation at an affordable level, for example $20 per month is only 66 cents per day. Small monthly contributions will allows MNC to achieve the following (to name just a few things):

  • Provide Emergency Food Relief (current expenditure is $1,000 per month)

  • Referrals such as Suncoast Community Legal, Financial Planning Assistance (Lifeline), counselling, haircut, literacy assistance, dispute resolution and more

  • Frozen lunches for Maleny Primary School students in need

  • Thursday Community Lunch served at 12.30pm - you are invited!

  • A productive community vegetable garden to provide Emergency food and contribute to weekly Thursday lunches

  • Meaningful roles for up to 60 volunteers with monthly networking, support and training

  • Domestic Violence Support

  • Social enterprise
