lunch

The Shared Community Lunch is a program of the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre.

Every Thursday, volunteers and members of the community get together to prepare and cook a nutritious meal which they share together with the community. People who wish to come along to the shared lunch merely need to provide a $5 donation, or what they feel is reasonable, to pay for the lunch. The money raised is used to pay for the lunch ingredients, however we gratefully accept donations of fresh produce to put towards each shared lunch. Some of the ingredients are even grown in our community garden!

The menu is available on Facebook every Thursday.

The Hinterland Famiy Support Program provides:

  • home visiting program to support parents
  • taps into parents' strengths to build resilience
  • parenting workshops
